Ouranosaurus is a herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous age in Africa. Measuring about 7 meters long this was a large dinosaur. Ouranosaurus had a large 'sail on its back that spanned its rump and tail. The hindlimbs were large and robust to accommodate the weight of the body and strong enough to allow a bipedal walk. The skull was long and flat and the snout was toothless, however the cheek area contained teeth on the sides of the jaw. So its teeth would have been used to chew up tough plant materials.
