Eustreptospondylus lived during the Jurassic period in southern England, at a time when Europe was a series of scattered islands. It was a carnivorous bipedal dinosaur with powerful hind limbs ad small forelimbs. Eustreptospondylus had a slightly stiffened tail which may have assisted it to balance while reaching with its small limbs.
