Carnotaurus is known from a single well-preserved skeleton from Argentina in South America. Carnotaurus was a lightly built bipedal predator from the Cretaceous era. Carnotaurus had very distinctive short thick horns above the eyes and a deep skull sitting on a thick neck, its forelimbs were small and the back limbs long and slender. Scientists are unsure as to the prey that Carnotaurus hunted some suggest Carnotaurus could hunt down large prey other say it lived on relatively small prey.
