Triceratops was a large herbivore that lived during the Cretaceous in Montana. It had three horns on its face and a bony neck frill. Today scientists believe that 2 or 3 smaller dinosaurs have been classified as individual dinosaur but are in fact young versions of the same dinosaur Triceratops. This error has come about because it is now thought that the neck frill and horns grew and develop when the dinosaur was almost fully grown.
This model is beautifully cut & printed on card it will impress with its exceptional detail & photographic qualities.
